£6,000 for Mental Health: Harpenden Lions' Highland Gathering Supports Mind Hertfordshire

When Harpenden Lions set out to organise the 2026 Highland Gathering, our goal was simple but meaningful: bring the community together for a day of celebration while raising funds for a cause that matters. As the final results came in, we were overwhelmed with pride. From the proceeds of the event we're now donating £6,000 to Mind Hertfordshire, an organisation doing truly vital work in mental health support across our county.

Why Mind Hertfordshire Matters

Mental health is one of the most important issues facing our communities today. Too many people struggle in silence, unsure where to turn or how to ask for help. Mind Hertfordshire works tirelessly to change that – providing support services, running awareness campaigns, and creating safe spaces where people can access the help they need without stigma or shame.
