Harpenden Lions Easter Egg Pub Raffle 2026 Raises £2,000 for The Willow Foundation

The Harpenden Lions’ annual Easter Egg Pub Raffle returned for 2026, once again bringing together local pubs, clubs, and community groups in support of a great cause. Thanks to the generosity of residents and the enthusiasm of participating venues, this year’s raffle raised an impressive £2,000 for the Willow Foundation.

Giant Easter eggs were displayed across Harpenden, Wheathampstead, Flamstead, Redbourn and surrounding areas, with each venue helping to create a friendly bit of competition — and plenty of chocolate themed fun — throughout the Easter period.

Venues That Made It Happen

A huge thank you goes to every venue, club, and organisation that hosted an egg and encouraged ticket sales:

  • BRE/Geolabs

  • Classical Choir

  • Cross Keys, Gustard Wood

  • Cross Keys, Harpenden

  • Elleswick Tennis Club

  • Harpenden Arms

  • John Bunyan

  • Queen’s Head

  • RBL/Bennetts

  • Studio 117

  • The Carpenters Arms

  • The Cricketers, Redbourn

  • The Engineer

  • The Hollybush, Redbourn

  • The Malta

  • The Marquis of Granby

  • The Spotted Dog, Flamstead

  • The Swan, Wheathampstead

  • Three Blackbirds, Flamstead

  • White Horse

Your enthusiasm and community spirit were the heart of this year’s success.

Supporting the Willow Foundation

All funds raised will help the Willow Foundation continue providing Special Days for seriously ill young adults aged 16–40. These personalised experiences offer joy, respite, and treasured memories at a time when they matter most. Every raffle ticket sold in our local pubs contributes directly to moments of hope for families across the UK.

A Community Effort to Be Proud Of

The Harpenden Lions extend warm thanks to:

• The pub teams, clubs, and organisations who hosted eggs

• Everyone who bought a ticket or spread the word

• The volunteers who delivered eggs, collected donations, and kept everything running smoothly. This event thrives because the community gets behind it — and 2026 was no exception.

Looking Ahead

The Easter Egg Pub Raffle has become a valued tradition across Harpenden and the surrounding villages. With such strong support this year, the Lions are already looking forward to 2027 and the difference we can continue to make together.
